Dear Blue Oaks Bears,

What a wonderful end to the month! We had such a fun time with Red Ribbon Week, Character Concert, Bear Hug Store, Book Fair and The Bear Jamboree. All of the work that goes into these special activities is greatly appreciated by everyone! We can't do any of this without our amazing parents, families and parent volunteers! Please remember no school for students tomorrow 11/1. We will see you on Tuesday1

All students entering the west side parking lot must use the crosswalk on Halesworth. DO NOT stop or park your vehicle except in a designated parking spot.  Remain in your car when at the yellow curb and pull all the way up to the end of they yellow curb.
  • The DROP-OFF/PICK-UP AREA in front of the Multi-Use Room is for school buses and daycare agencies only. Please do not drop off or pick up students on Horncastle Ave. There is no supervision.

WALK TO SCHOOL WEDNESDAY!

*Next Walk to School: Nov. 17th*

If you live too far to walk, we encourage you to park in the surrounding neighborhood and walk in from there. Two student council representatives will be manning each gate to pass out stickers to those students who participated in Walk to School Wednesday. We look forward to seeing our Bears put on their walking shoes and help to create a cleaner environment.

Darrin O’Conner is always kind and ready to help out, from moving furniture to covering crossing guard duty twice a day! Blue Oaks is a better place because of him.

Blue Oaks 5th Grade Bucket Band

Our PTC has purchased the seat cushions which will allow our students to sit outside on the ground and practice playing and learning the recorder. Thank you so much for your support of our school music program! Our kids will be so excited to learn that they will have the chance to play recorders this year. I can't wait to tell them the good news! I can't wait to see their faces light up when they play their first song.  As a reminder, the bucket band performance will be Dec. 9th! This event will be held outside on the stage. More information will be coming.

What's New in RCSD?

JOIN THE RCSD TEAM! Be part of a great school district and team! Check out the RCSD Job Fair on Tuesday, November 16, from 1 pm – 7 pm at the District Office located at 1050 Main Street, Roseville. Our team is ready to help you complete the process and will offer INTERVIEWS ON THE SPOT for qualified candidates. We offer a variety of hours from part-time to full-time, and many available jobs can work within the school day hours! For a description of the jobs available and more information about the Job Fair, visit the RCSD website.

Lost and Found

Our lost and found is located in the Bear's Lair on the stage.  It is very helpful if your child has their name on their clothing so we can return it. At the end of the trimesters, we will be donating the clothes that don't get picked up. Please come take a look!

  • If you are NOT vaccinated and you would like to continue to volunteer as a Category I or Category II volunteer, you MUST show proof of a negative COVID test within 6 days of being on campus.  Our school secretaries will ask for proof of this requirement upon you signing in.
