Staff appreciation week was a huge success! Thank you to our phenomenal PTC, as they put together a bucket-filling week with classroom doors being decorated, flowers, notes, dressing up day and finally ending the week strong with a delicious BBQ. We are incredibly thankful for their time and dedication to the staff and students. Thank you community members for signing up to help with all the events too. Collect the Rainbow Bear Hug Challenge
We had our first round celebration last Friday. The bears loved it and can’t wait for the second round. Jamba Juice was a hit for our 3rd- 5th graders and candy was also successful for our TK- 2nd graders. We will have another challenge starting Monday and will run through June 2nd.
This challenge has significantly reduced referrals and helped our bears follow our bear necessities! Overall for the month of April, we had 66 referrals and 16 were from physical aggression.

Attendance is vital for every child every day as lifelong habits are established in the early school years and contribute to student success throughout their school career and beyond. The best way to keep up with your student's curriculum pacing is to ensure they are in class daily and engaging with peers and their teachers.
When students are absent, they miss participating in discovery, student discourse, and the friendships made inside and outside the classroom through play and collaborative learning. Knowledge and understanding are more than being able to complete a worksheet; it is connecting new knowledge with concepts known previously to construct new meaning and sharing explanations of what is learned. Our teachers want to celebrate students and peers attending school in person and gaining knowledge.
Please be reminded that our upcoming vacation days for the remainder of the year are the following and please try and schedule appointments on non-school days and after school.
Monday, May 29, 2023 - Non-School Day/Holiday

Paper forms will no longer be available at the office.
