Dear Blue Oaks Families!
This week went fast! It was 4 days of fun and learning. We recently had our first lock down drill so if your child comes home asking questions, please know we had a practice drill on Thursday. All student and teachers followed our protocols and it was a successful practice drill. We also had our first character concert and discussed respect. We will have a character concert each month that will focus on different attributes. I also wanted to remind everyone that our lunch menus are subject to change and I know it can be frustrating for our students to be expecting one thing but then get another. We are working with our food services to resolve this issue. Thank you for your patience.
Also, I am so happy to share that we made a little over $39,000 with the dance-a-thon! WOW! we have such an amazing community. Here are the top fundraiser winners:
- Rayan Neronda
- Averie Yeates
- Sophia Alvarez
- Peter Ogden
- Leonardo Marques
- Nathan Walmsley
- Ezra Barnie
- Crew Clariborne
- MaLea McLish
- Julia Brown
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
Thank you,
Mrs. Cumbra

- Yearbook Photos 2021-2022It is already time to start sending in pictures to commemorate all of the amazing things your student is doing this school year. Please take a moment to upload pictures from the first day of school and the Dance-a-thon. It would be so helpful if you could name the picture files for me, for example “Johnny Dancing” or “4th Grade 1st Day” or “Tommy 3rd Grade” all of these little pieces of information help us when it comes time for us to layout the yearbook. When you follow the link to upload pictures, you will be asked for your email address. It is just part of the Google dropbox process. Thank you all so much! I look forward to seeing all of your wonderful pictures.
